White is one of the great challenges of illustrating in colour.  Join me and explore this fun subject drawing botanical specimens. We'll explore what you need to look for, how to enhance your work to give it more depth, working with live or photographic specimens and how to manage contrast and light/darks. Class 1 will cover the technical side of drawing a white subject from limits of value on a white subject, what correct colours to use (and it's not all greys) and how to still make your work pop. Classes 2, 3 and 4 we'll get into drawing the subject.  Along with this you'll get great tips and tricks for understanding whites. 

Each class will be recorded and made available to students for a limited amount of time for review.
