Botanical Specimens

In this intermediate drawing class student will work on developing their botanical specimen drawing skills.  The class is meant for students who are serious at botanical illustration and working on layout, detail, composition, form and colour use.  Students need to be comfortable with coloured pencil drawing and are able to draw while choosing colours and working with an extensive colour palette.  This is an important class and we'll look at specimens from berries, leaves, flower petals, shine and detail.  Be prepared to do a lot of drawing, bring your own specimens if you want and learn a lot while following along with the instructor as you journey into perfecting your drawing skills in colour.
