​Get to know your materials—papers, pencils, and tools—and how they affect your results. Learn practical methods for layering and blending to achieve smooth transitions and rich, complex tones without losing the paper’s surface.

Light, Shadow, and the Illusion of Realism
​Understand how light defines form. Through simple exercises, you’ll learn to build believable depth, shadow, and reflective light to bring drawings to life. This module moves from flat colour to full dimensional realism.

From Sketch to Finish: Drawing A Final Piece
Apply everything you’ve learned by completing a finished coloured pencil drawing from start to finish. We’ll walk through planning, composition, layering strategy, and final refinements to help you build confidence and a strong visual finish.
